Criterion-by-criterion evaluation against WCAG 2.1 Level AA
WCAG is the technical standard referenced by EN 301 549 and required by Directive (EU) 2019/882. It is the official measure authorities use to evaluate your website.

What is WCAG and why does it matter?

Las Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) from the W3C define 4 principles (Perceivable, Operable, Understandable, Robust) with numbered, measurable success criteria. The European standard EN 301 549 incorporates WCAG 2.1 Level AA. The Directiva (UE) 2019/882 requires EN 301 549 compliance. Result: WCAG is exactly what authorities measure when they inspect your website.
